Advait Energy Emerges L1 Bidder for 150 MW/300 MWh Battery Energy Storage Project in Gujarat
Advait Energy Transitions has emerged as the successful L1 bidder for a 150 MW / 300 MWh capacity under the 335 MW / 670 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project in Gujarat.
The confirmation was issued, by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a tariff-based competitive bidding process with viability gap funding support from the Power System Development Fund (Phase VIII).
The project marks a key step in strengthening India’s grid stability, renewable energy integration, and peak demand management capabilities as battery storage gains importance in the clean energy transition.
The company said detailed disclosures under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations will be made after receiving the Letter of Intent or Award from Securities and Exchange Board of India. Advait Energy Transitions, formerly Advait Infratech, continues to expand its footprint in advanced energy storage and grid modernisation projects.
