Texmaco Rail & Engineering has launched a network of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) across India, under the brand name, Invariz powered by ServiceNow platform; marking its entry into AI-led global services and digital solutions.

The company had soft-launched the first centre in Faridabad at the end of last year, with plans to scale operations to other locations. The GCC rollout is expected to generate 1200+ direct jobs, contributing over $100+ Million in incremental revenue by 2030 and creating a new growth engine alongside its core railway and infrastructure businesses.

The move signals a strategic pivot for the 86-year-old engineering major as it integrates AI-driven platforms into its operations and expands into high-value digital services. The GCCs will leverage ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflow platform to deliver automation-led enterprise solutions, targeting both domestic and international clients across sectors.

Sudipta Mukherjee, Managing Director, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, said, “This initiative has enormous potential for future growth & will create more global alliances for Texmaco. It is also going to be the Digital front end of the company, perhaps one of its kind for total solution around Railways globally & also much beyond, we are look forward for an exciting meaningful delivery. Leveraging ServiceNow’s platform will help us unlock new revenue streams, improve efficiencies, and strengthen our positioning in global markets.”

The company added that the GCC platform will also act as a hub for innovation, digital talent development, and AI-led transformation, supporting multi-industry use cases and reinforcing India’s role as a global GCC destination.

Texmaco said the GCC network will support group companies and expand to serve external clients as well as enabling a scalable global delivery model. The initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency, improve asset utilisation, and create a diversified services portfolio aligned with evolving global GCC trends.

Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj Group CDO who is driving – Invariz – GCC, said, “Our focus is on building a scalable, innovation-led GCC ecosystem. By combining AI capabilities with global best practices, we aim to deliver agile, high-impact solutions while creating a strong digital talent base.”

Texmaco expects the GCC initiative to contribute 10%-15% to its overall growth strategy over the medium term, complementing its core manufacturing and infrastructure businesses. The company said the move positions it among early Indian engineering firms to scale AI-enabled global services, in line with the evolving global enterprise services landscape.
