Volvo Buses India secures single largest order from Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation
Marking a significant milestone in its partnership with the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Volvo Buses India, has secured an order for 200 Volvo 9600 coaches. This represents the single-largest order for Volvo buses in India and marks a significant commitment to strengthening premium intercity public transportation in the state.
The order, comprising 170 seater buses and 30 sleeper buses, underscores MSRTC’s commitment to elevating inter-city travel experience for passengers. The buses will bring Volvo’s internationally recognized standards of safety, comfort and reliability to intercity and inter-state routes, offering passengers a premium travel experience through the state’s public transportation network.
