KP Energy, in a regulatory filing, has announced the commissioning of the first phase of a 50.4 MW wind power project at Vanki in Nakhatrana, Kutch district of Gujarat, developed for NTPC Renewable Energy.

The commissioned capacity comprises 16 Suzlon wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. According to the filing, the project achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) with effect from 00:00 hours on July 8, 2026.

KP Energy said the commissioning reinforces its position as a wind energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions provider in India. The company added that the project reflects its continued focus on supporting the country’s renewable energy expansion through the timely execution of utility-scale wind power projects.
