The Tata Power Company has joined hands with Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), India’s largest 4-wheeler EV manufacturer, to inaugurate Telangana’s first high-speed TATA.ev MegaCharger Hub at iLabs Centre, Hyderabad.

Strategically located at the heart of Hitech City, iLabs Centre Charging Hub, has been designed to cater to Hyderabad’s rapidly expanding community of electric vehicle users, including private vehicle owners, commercial fleets, ride-hailing services, intercity travellers and corporate commuters. With Hyderabad emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing technology and business hubs, the facility aims to address the increasing demand for reliable, accessible, and high-speed EV charging infrastructure while supporting the state’s broader sustainability ambitions.

Equipped with a total charging capacity of 360 kW, the MegaCharger Hub features three 120 kW dispensers, enabling up to six electric vehicles to charge simultaneously. Operating 24×7, the facility significantly reduces charging time while providing a seamless and dependable charging experience, setting a new benchmark for future-ready EV infrastructure in the region.

The Inauguration was attended by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to Govt of Telangana and Gopalakrishnan VC, Director Automotive and EV Sector Industries and Commerce Department -Government of Karnataka along with representatives from TATA Power and TATA Motors.

The co-branded TATA.ev MegaCharger Hub is part of the rapidly expanding TATA.ev MegaCharger network, a flagship initiative of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., with 750+ TATA.ev Mega charging points live across key corridors and cities in India. Many of these hubs are seamlessly accessible through the Tata Power EZ Charge App, which has over 5 lakh + registered users.
