Sunsure Energy commences power supply to RACL Geartech in Uttar Pradesh

Sunsure Energy has commenced solar power supply to RACL Geartech, a globally recognized manufacturer of high-precision automotive components. Six million units of renewable energy will be supplied annually from Sunsure’s solar plant in Mahoba to RACL’s factory in Gajraula. Through this Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), RACL will be able to meet more than 40% of its Gajraula plant’s energy needs from clean energy, helping them offset a total of 4,300 metric tonnes of CO2e annually, and contributing significantly to their sustainability efforts.

RACL Geartech, headquartered in Noida (Delhi-NCR), is an automotive components manufacturer with a global presence. With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Gajraula and Noida, the company employs over 800 skilled professionals and provides complex engineering solutions in the field of Transmission Gears & Shafts for Motorcycles & Scooters, 3 & 4 Wheeler Passenger & Light Cargo Vehicles, Tractors, Electric Cars, Agricultural Machinery, Off-Road Vehicles, Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles. The company is dedicated to sustainable operations aiming to produce around 50% of its electricity from non-fossil fuel sources within the next five years.
