BKT’s Bhuj Plant awarded with prestigious Health & Safety Management Award by the British Safety Council

Balkrishna Industries has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour 2025’ Award by the British Safety Council.

The ceremony took place at the Drapers’ Hall in London and acknowledges BKT’s commitment to excellent Health & Safety Management, recognizing the outstanding achievements, the hard work and perseverance of the company’s flagship production plant of Bhuj, India.

BKT was selected as one of 70 successful applicants who achieved the ‘Sword of Honour’, which is awarded to companies that have demonstrated excellence in the management of health and safety risks at work. The company has obtained a Five Star Audit Report, the maximum rating in British Safety Council’s management audit scheme. Following these results, BKT has been recognized with a prestigious hand-crafted stainless-steel ceremonial sword, specially created for the 2025 award winners.

This award is a further demonstration of BKT’s commitment in promoting health and safety at the workplace in the light of the outstanding results achieved at the  company’s major production plant: the Bhuj site.
