Salasar Techno Engineering has received an order worth ₹20.5 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the supply of 200 40-metre towers for its 4G Saturation Network rollout in Rajasthan Circle. The project strengthens Salasar’s expanding presence in the telecom infrastructure segment and reinforces its Make in India manufacturing base, building on its established capabilities in manufacturing and supplying critical infrastructure solutions across India.

The project forms part of BSNL’s 4G Saturation Network rollout, which is aimed at expanding 4G connectivity across the country and strengthening telecom infrastructure in regions that remain underserved. Rajasthan, India’s geographically largest state, presents a significant infrastructure requirement given its extensive geographical spread and diverse urban and rural landscape. Through the supply of these towers, Salasar will contribute to the physical infrastructure required to support BSNL’s network expansion across the state.

The project also marks an important step in Salasar’s continued diversification beyond its core power transmission business into telecom tower manufacturing and infrastructure. With established manufacturing capabilities for complex steel structures, the company is positioned to support the growing infrastructure requirements emerging from India’s digital connectivity and network expansion.

“Supplying towers for BSNL’s 4G Saturation Rollout reflects the strength we’ve built in telecom infrastructure over time,” said Shashank Agarwal, Managing Director, Salasar Techno Engineering. “It speaks to our manufacturing scale, our delivery discipline against defined timelines, and our commitment to Make in India engineering.”

The project further reinforces Salasar Techno Engineering’s position as a diversified EPC and manufacturing partner supporting India’s critical infrastructure development. With capabilities spanning telecom, power transmission and distribution, railways, renewable energy and customised steel structures, the company continues to expand its presence across infrastructure segments while leveraging its integrated manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
