The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority presented its Rs 476.76 crore budget on Monday .
The budget presented by its chairman Bhupendra Patel made provisions for three bridges at Sanathal, Ranasan and one on the national highway . A flyover was also proposed at Vaishnodevi circle. Patel said that Auda is strengthening water supply provisions for Bopal, Ghuma, Shela and residential housing zones.
He also announced a single window for clearing industry proposals in Auda area within five days. More than 50 town-planning schemes will be prepared in the financial year. Also, 566 MIG houses and 308 LIG houses will be allotted by March. "By August, allotment of 1,708 EWS houses will be completed. Auda plans to make 1,500 EWS houses this year at the cost of Rs 100 crore," said Patel.
