JK Cement Declared Preferred Bidder for Gilund Limestone Block in Rajasthan

JK Cement has been declared the ‘Preferred Bidder’ for the Gilund Limestone Block in Rajasthan following its successful participation in an e-auction conducted by the Government of Rajasthan.

According to a regulatory filing, the Gilund Limestone Block is spread over an area of 370.96 hectares and is located in the Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. The award marks a significant step in strengthening JK Cement’s long-term raw material security and supporting its future capacity expansion plans.

The acquisition of mining rights for the limestone block is expected to enhance the company’s access to a key raw material required for cement manufacturing, thereby contributing to operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
