In the early week of March, the market was abuzz with the news of Trane Technologies completing Reverse Morris Trust transaction with Gardner Denver Holdings, Inc. With this move the Climate Segment now operates as Trane Technologies and the Industrial Segment of the former Ingersoll-Rand plc has been separated and merged with Gardner Denver. In an interview with EPC World, subjected on - “The company’s roadmap and what the customers can expect from the new entity”, Kishor Patil, Country Head, Trane HVAC Business India & SAARC Markets says, “Trane Technologies is now a pure-play climate innovation company. The company will create efficient and sustainable solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, leveraging its strategic leading brands Trane® and Thermo King®, along with its portfolio of climate-focused innovations.’’
For more than a century, Trane has been a leader in HVAC, delivering energy efficient and sustainable solutions. Kishor says that he and his team are excited about the new entity and identity. He said, “Embarking on this new journey, we have a renewed strategy, vision and priorities which will help us in creating a sustainable future for our planet. The transition has further opened new doors of opportunities, elevating the market with Trane® brand leading and celebrating the power of technological innovation.”
He emphasizes that Trane Technologies is now working with a greater focus, more targeted investments, and simplified business model that will help the company to continue to drive growth and deliver value for customers and employees. The new business strategy will help the teams to collaborate with customers better and advance their sustainability goals.
Trane Technologies’ current set of products have been catering to diversified sectors including commercial real estate, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and large format infrastructures. By the end of this year, the company is looking to build a strong foundation and strengthen its brand portfolio.
