L&T’s construction arm has received orders worth Rs. 2,106 crore. The Water and Effluent Treatment Business has received order from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for investigation, design & construction of roads, bridges, storm water drains, water supply, sewerage, utility ducts for power & ICT, reuse waterline, avenue plantation and artificial water body compatible with trunk Infrastructure in layouts for Amaravati government complex in Amaravati Capital City, Andhra Pradesh. The Water Effluent Treatment Business and Transportation Infrastructure Business of L&T Construction will jointly execute the APCRDA order.
The Water and Effluent Treatment Business has also won a turnkey order from the Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) for the execution of drinking water supply projects in the Hazaribagh and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand. The GeoStructure vertical of L&T has bagged orders worth Rs. 152 crore from BHEL for the execution of pile caps, pedestals, piers, deep foundation-supported bridges and gallery, for a Coal Handling and Ash Handling Plant of the 2x660 MW STTP at Ennore, Chennai. The project is to be executed in stringent timelines of 20 months.
