Synergy Advanced Metals applauds the rise in India’s defence exports to ₹23,622 crore in FY24-25, as highlighted in a PIB release dated 1st April 2025. According to the PIB press release, the Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) have shown a significant increase of 42.85% in their exports in the FY 2024-25, reflecting the growing acceptability of Indian products in the global market and the ability of the Indian defence industry to be a part of the global supply chain.
Subhash Chand Kathuria, Chairman, Synergy Advanced Metals, said, “We appreciate the wide-ranging exports of defence equipment, including ammunition, weapons, subsystems, and more, to nearly 80 countries, as reflected in the PIB press release. This highlights India’s evolution from a largely import-dependent military force to a self-reliant and indigenous producer.”
Anubhav Kathuria, Managing Director, Synergy Advanced Metals, further added, “The Government’s ambitious plan of reaching ₹50,000 crore of annual defence exports by 2029, as mentioned in the PIB press release, reflects India’s plan for defence supply chain.”
We congratulate the Government of India, the Defence Ministry and all private and public stakeholders for this growth. As India continues on its path of growth, Synergy Advanced Metals remains committed to contributing to the nation’s economic development.
