Siemens Gamesa has secured an order for supply and installation of 150-MW wind farm from ReNew Power. As per the agreement, Siemens Gamesa will provide, erect and commission 75 units of SG 2.0-114 MW wind turbines for the farm coming up in Kutch district. In India, Siemens Gamesa has two blade making factories in Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and Halol in Gujarat.
Recently, the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has set a target of off-shore wind power capacity additions of 30 GW by 2030.
