Salasar Techno Engineering has been awarded a prestigious INR 232 crores turnkey transmission line project by Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation (UPPTCL). International funding by KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau) Germany’s state-owned promotional and development bank, reinforces Salasar’s leadership in social-economic development in the high-voltage transmission domain.

The project awarded in November 2025 entails the engineering, detailed design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 400 KV DC Twin Moose Banda-Chitrakoot transmission line, spanning approximately 130 kilometres. Once operational, the transmission line is expected to significantly strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s power transmission network by enhancing grid stability and reliability, reducing transmission losses, and supporting the state’s growing power requirements driven by industrial expansion and rapid urbanisation.

On being awarded this turnkey project, Shashank Agarwal, Managing Director, Salasar Techno Engineering Limited said, “This prestigious UPPTCL project reaffirms Salasar’s proven capability to deliver large-scale, high-voltage transmission projects of national importance. Our integrated EPC expertise, strong execution framework, and unwavering focus on quality, safety and timely delivery enable us to consistently meet the expectations of India’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) ecosystem. We remain committed to advancing India’s power infrastructure through innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions.”

The project further reinforces Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd.’s role as a trusted partner in building resilient, future-ready power transmission infrastructure critical to India’s long-term energy security goals and economic growth.
