Polycab India expands in Australia; incorporates wholly-owned subsidiary

In a filing to BSE Polycab India informed that it has a wholly owned subsidiary in Australia under the name and style of ‘Polycab Australia PTY Ltd.

The filing further stated that the objective of incorporating Polycab Australia PTY Ltd as the company wants to expand its business in the overseas markets and create its presence worldwide. In this regard, the Company has incorporated the wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia.

Polycab is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling wires and cables and fast moving electrical goods ‘FMEG’ under the ‘’ brand. Apart from wires and cables, the company manufactures and sells FMEG products such as electric fans, LED lighting and luminaires, switches and switchgear, solar products and conduits & accessories.
