We will display our versatile product range at Excon 2021

We will display our versatile product range at Excon 2021, says Dheeraj Panda, COO (Sales, Marketing & Customer Support) Sany Heavy Industry India

After a hiatus of a couple of years due to Pandemic, exhibitions are back in business and Excon 2022 is the biggest trade fair for construction equipment and technology. What are your plans and preparations for Excon 2022?
It is wonderful to be a part of Excon 2021. As we all know it is one of the biggest confluence of customers, financing partners, policy makers and business minds hence a perfect venue to display or array of technologically advanced products and launch a few new ones. We are excited to be a part of it after a wait of 2 years.

Which are the machinery and equipment you are going to display at the Exhibition?     Are you planning to launch machinery and equipment at the Exhibition? If yes, please share with us the details.
We will display our versatile product range at Excon 2021. Yes, we are launching products to our burgeoning group of customers. New products have been designed for our Indian customers keeping their requirements in mind. Most importantly, our deep understanding of the Indian market and our customers' sentiments will give a unique edge to these products making it a true 'value for money' proposition.

Government’s relentless effort to complete infrastructure projects in the stipulated time has given rise to construction equipment that are stronger, versatile and technologically advanced. How are you supporting the government in this endeavour?
The demand for heavy machinery and construction equipment has seen a tremendous spurt as infrastructure refurbishment projects have gained significant momentum back as a result of increased investment and push from the government. Equipment are also extensively sought-after in various projects, including shipping, oil & gas, rail & road building, and power plant constructions. We intend to be a part of the infrastructure development of India by supplying machines that are largely manufactured in our Pune unit, thus supporting localization and the “Make in India initiative” of the government.

What is your demand outlook for fiscal FY23-24 and where do you see growth coming from?
With the thrust in the infrastructural and construction development by the government, we see demands coming in from all the construction equipment segments. Moving ahead, we shall be focusing on the road, mining and ports sectors. These sectors are the core drives of the Indian economy which contribute to the country’s GDP. Government's focus on world class infrastructure has fuelled the growth of the road development sector in India. We are also witnessing a remarkable growth in the mining sector especially after the introduction of mining reforms. This has certainly spurred the demands for mining equipment in the CE industry. Similarly, the increasing seaborne trade across the globe is prominently driving the demand for the port equipment market in India. Among the other sectors, these two would be our prime areas in 2022.
