Rama Steel Tubes, a leading manufacturer of ERW pipes, in a filing to BSE has announced that the Company has started implementation of its expansion project at the Lepakshi Tubes’ (wholly owned subsidiary), facility in Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh.
Through this expansion project the company intends to increase its capacity to manufacture steel tubes & pipes from existing capacity of 36,000 MT per annum to 72,000 MT per annum in order to meet variety of sizes and growing demand of the products.
The filing further mentioned that the Cost of this expansion is being met from unsecured loan/internal accruals and the total investment required for the expansion would be approximately ₹ 4 crore.
