The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed loan agreements with the Government of India in Delhi, to provide Japanese official development assistance (ODA) loans of up to a total of 426,814 million yen for four projects in India.
The four projects are the
- Patna Metro Rail Construction Project (I) (loan amount of 98,612 million yen),
- The Project for Forest and Biodiversity Conservation for Climate Change Response in West Bengal (loan amount of 9,308 million yen),
- Rajasthan Water Sector Livelihood Improvement Project (II) (loan amount: 18,894 million yen)
- and Project for the Construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (IV) (loan amount: 300,000 million yen).
