Humsafar India introduces IoT-RFID and GPS based connected smart mobile petrol pump ‘Urja’

Humsafar India, a Delhi headquartered start-up has introduced Global Positioning System (GPS),  Internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)  based connected Humsafar Mobile Petrol Pump - URJA for location based smart fuel delivery  to help industries, the farm sector, malls, hospitals, hotels to save on fuel cost, time and prevent pilferage .

Humsafar has launched a new version of the Mobile Petrol Pump (MPP)  ‘URJA ’ with 3KL capacity which is agile & efficient, capable of maneuvering through narrow streets . The IoT – RFID based HMPP device has been developed to provide accurate, theft proof and zero loss in fueling. It is a compact vehicle which can manoeuvre in narrow and remote areas as well. It is very cost effective.

“Customer can order through FUEL HUMSAFAR app and our URJA MPP will reach the customer  location. The new smart mobile fuel pump has been developed as robust ensuring least breakdowns and higher profitability. It is equipped with GPS, Geofencing & IoT solutions ensuring remote monitoring & assured quality & quantity. Urja is equipped with Humsafar promise of Bowser+ where digital marketing, branding & tech supports are complementary,” said Sanya Goel, Founder Director, Humsafar India.

“India is the third-largest consumer of fuel, however there are many discrepancies in the system, and organisations lose a significant amount in fuel related wastages. This loss can be quantified in terms of money, time and workforce utilisation. Humsafar India addresses all these concerns by providing fuel at their location, at minimum cost. Currently, Humsafar India has a customer base of more than 200 cities in various states in the country,” said Sanya.

“The IoT – RFID based MPP URJA  is a server monitored and connected mobile  fuel dispensing machine. These are geo-fenced and equipped with GPS and fuel sensors. We are duly approved by PESO (Petroleum Explosives and Safety Organisation) and also have an agreement with Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum for doorstep delivery under license SOOB (Startup Owned and Operated Bowser),” said Nishit Goel, Founder Director of Humsafar India.

“Geofencing enabled in mobile fuel pumps enhances fueling to be done at correct and known customers' Vehicles or assets. The new smart fuel dispensing system is designed in such a way that authorization happens only if known coordinates received from a GPS device are validated. For securing ensure secure transactions and fuel dispensing the Nozzle operates once it is in the fuel tank” said Goel.

“Our Target customers are mainly industries, heavy equipment, the farm sector, malls, colleges, resorts and hotels, etc., where DG sets are used. Also, for heavy construction equipment which cannot go frequently to fuel stations. The benefits to customers are many,” said Goel.
