Amish Mehta has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CRISIL, an S&P Global Company.
In his new role, Amish will steer the company’s Indian and global businesses, and their efforts to deliver high-quality analytics, opinions and solutions to corporations, investors, financial institutions, policymakers and governments.

An eminent leader with rich experience of more than two decades across industries and in various leadership positions, Amish joined CRISIL in October 2014 as President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
He was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in July 2017, responsible for Global Analytical Center, India Research and SME, Global Innovation and Excellence (GIX) Hub and Corporate Strategy. As COO, Amish has led CRISIL’s acquisitions and change agenda while creating a growth path for the businesses managed.
Amish is a Chartered Accountant and was the CFO of Indus Towers prior to joining CRISIL. During his career, he has held leadership roles in diverse organisations including BP/Castrol India, EY and ExxonMobil India.
Amish takes over from Ashu Suyash, who decided to move on to set up her own venture.
