MMRDA receives 17 bids for Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has received 17 bids from contractors from out of the 29 that were shortlisted for the 3 packages of the 22-km long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project.

The six contractors for Package-1 running from Sewri up to 10.38-km (10.38 km) are – 1) consortium consisting of M/s. AFCONS-FLUOR-SPCPL; 2) consortium consisting of M/s. Daweoo-TATA; 3) consortium consisting of M/s. HCC-SKECL; 4) consortium consisting of M/s. IL&FS TNL-SPSCPL; 5) consortium consisting of M/s. ITD-SIMPLEX-ITDPCL-SMCCL and 6) M/s. L&T-IHI.

The six contractors for Package-2 running from step 10.38-km up to step 18.187-km (7.807 km) are – 1) consortium of M/s. AFCONS-FLUOR-SPCPL; 2) consortium consisting of M/s. Daweoo-TATA; 3) consortium consisting of M/s. HCC-SKECL; 4) consortium consisting of M/s. IL&FS Engg.-Ranjit Buildcon; 5) consortium consisting of M/s. ITD-SIMPLEX-ITDPCL-SMCCL and 6) M/s. L&T-IHI.

Further, the 5 bidding contractors for Package-3 running from step 18.187 up to Chirle (3.613 km) are – 1) consortium consisting of M/s. AFCONS-FLUOR-SPCPL; 2) consortium consisting of M/s. ITD-Thakur-JM Mhatre 3) M/s. J.Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. 4) M/s. L&T Ltd and 5) M/s.NCC Limited.

The 22-km long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project will provide direct access to Navi Mumbai, New International Airport and will also provide convenient gateway to Pune Expressway and further to Southern India.
