Can you please apprise us about the products launched during Excon 2015?
We have launched our indigenously manufactured new product line for aggregate crushing and screening industry – Kubria® Cone Crusher, Single-Toggle EB Jaw Crusher and Multirok® Vertical Shaft Impactors which will cater to infrastructure and mining sectors. These products are superior and efficient as compared to the products available in the market. These products have been in our company products line-up for a very long period. However, we have introduced these in the Indian market for the first time.
Can you please take us through the technology advancements of these crushers?
The Cone crusher is a Kubria ® crusher as the product coming out of these machines is cubical in shape. Kubria means cube. When the cubical shaped aggregate is used for the construction of roads, it helps in maintaining the stability of the roads. The cubical aggregate shape provides advantages in terms of stability as well as the driving experience of the rider whether the roads are asphalt or concrete.
Apart from this, our products are designed to handle varieties of hot raw material as well. These plants also offer longer product life cycle as compared to competition coupled with minimum maintenance services required for its upkeep. This considerably reduces downtime and ultimately takes care of bottom lines in the long run
Are these machines manufactured in India? Do you have any future plans to export them?
We have already manufactured three of these machines in India which have been exported to African countries. We also have secured orders for these machines from Mexico and Germany. But our main interest is in serving the Indian market.
How the slowdown in the mining and road sector has affected thyssenkrupp in India?
thyssenkrupp has very flexible manufacturing and we are a well diversified company. We have strong presence in infrastructure, power, mining, boilers, cement and sugar sectors, which help to stay very balanced in such scenarios.
