Jyoti Structures energises key 400 kV transmission lines in Gujarat
Jyoti Structures has successfully energised critical sections of the 400 kV multi-circuit transmission network linking Pirana and Ahmedabad, marking a major milestone in the project’s execution.
The transmission line from Torrent Power Grid (Pirana) to Power Grid Corporation of India (Ahmedabad, CKT-1) was charged at 17:15:45 hrs on 19 February 2026. This was followed by the energisation of the line from PGCIL Pirana to PGCIL Ahmedabad at 19:20 hrs on the same day.
The company stated that the energisation was achieved after addressing multiple operational and technical challenges, ensuring safe and reliable commissioning through detailed planning and coordinated execution.
Commenting on the development, Rajesh Kumar Singh, CEO of Jyoti Structures, said the milestone brings the project closer to completion of the full transmission corridor and reflects the firm’s focus on timely execution with high safety standards. He also acknowledged the support and cooperation from stakeholders, including Torrent Power Grid.
With this milestone, Jyoti Structures aims to further strengthen India’s power transmission infrastructure and enhance reliable energy delivery across the region.
