Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the infrastructure engineering software company, has been recognized by Afcons Infrastructure, one of India’s leading infrastructure construction companies, as its Innovation Partner of the Year 2025. The award was presented during Afcons’ Innovation Partners 2025 Felicitation Ceremony in Mumbai.
Bentley received the honor for its invaluable contribution to Afcons’ engineering digitalization journey through an enterprise agreement that provided Afcons’ teams with access to over 250 Bentley engineering software tools. This strategic adoption enables Afcons to accelerate project delivery, standardize digital workflows, and strengthen innovation across its infrastructure portfolio.
A key innovation included the deployment of ProjectWise, part of Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, as a Common Data Environment (CDE) in alignment with ISO 19650 standards, improving collaboration, data management, and compliance across both current and legacy projects. Additionally, Bentley’s SYNCHRO 4D software was leveraged in a pilot program to advance the Greater Malé Connectivity Project (GMCP), which links the capital, Malé, with the Maldives outer islands through a 6.7 km bridge and causeway network, providing real-time progress tracking in 3D models, which accelerated decision-making, reduced rework, and enhanced project visibility. Bentley’s support for onboarding, training, customization, and troubleshooting contributed to improved data integration, enhanced cross-stakeholder collaboration, measurable efficiency gains, and scalability for future projects – marking a significant step in Afcons’ digital transformation journey.
Afcons presented a citation to Bentley during Afcon’s Innovation Partners 2025 event, which read, “Bentley Systems India Pvt.
