All Traction Sub-Stations on Monorail Phase-II charged

ALL Traction Sub-Stations on Monorail Phase-II have now been charged as UPS Madan, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, inaugurated the third Traction Sub-Station (TSS) at Lower Parel Station. The other Two TSSs are at Acharya Atre Nagar Station and Ambedkar Nagar Station. These three TSSs will act as feeder for power supply to the entire system to run trains. 



While the first phase of Monorail from Wadala to Chembur  (8.9-km) is already in operation, the second phase  (10.64-km) is getting ready to roll soon. 



Also present on the occasion were Sanjay Khandare, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA; Vijayalaxmi, Chief, Transport and Communication Division and other MMRDA senior officials.
