Adani Transmission acquires HPTSL

Adani Transmission has announced that it has acquired 100% equity share capital of of Hadoti Power Transmission Service (HPTSL) from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd (RVPN). As per the BSE filing by Adani, HPTSL a special-purpose vehicle (SPV) company was created in May 2016 by RVPN for development of 220 KV and 132 KV grid sub-station, along with associated transmission lines and schemes and works in public private partnership mode. Adani Transmission acquired the company through a competitive bidding process.
