CLP India and Suzlon in joint venture for solar projects in Maharashtra

CLP India and Suzlon have entered into a joint venture for two solar projects of 50 MW and 20 MW in Dhule district, Maharashtra. As per the terms of the agreement, CLP India will acquire 49% stake in two special purpose vehicles (SPV) – Gale Solarfarms and  Tornado Solarfarms set-up by Suzlon. The agreement further stated that CLP India has the option to acquire the balance 51% stake in the future.   

As per the agreement, Suzlon India will be responsible to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for these two projects that are already commissioned.
