MoU signed for capacity building for integrated power development scheme

For capacity building of distribution utility personnel at various levels under Government of India's priority initiative "Integrated Power Development Scheme" (IPDS) which has a critical role in improving the health of urban power distribution  sector, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)  has been signed between NTPC Ltd’s Power Management Institute (NTPC-PMI) and Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC).  
 
MoU was signed by Ajit K. Bhatnagar, Executive Director, NTPC-PMI and Neeraj Singh, Head of HR (IPDS), PFC, in the presence of senior officials from NTPC-PMI. PFC is the nodal agency for implementation of IPDS under which NTPC-PMI will impart training on various themes for enhancing the skills of all levels of utility personnel across India for efficient management and operation.
 
NTPC-PMI, which has proven expertise in the field of training and development, will prepare a training calendar upto March 2018 for training the distribution utility personnel in batches of 20-30 at Noida and other locations in the country.
