J Infratech wins ₹116 Crore NHIDCL highway project in Assam

J Infratech has been awarded a prestigious highway reconstruction project worth ₹116.43 crore by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. The project involves the reconstruction of selected stretches between Km 514.360 and Km 534.800 of the Jhanji–Demow section of NH-37 (Old) in Assam, covering a total length of 20.44 kilometers. The company has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from NHIDCL and is mandated to complete the work within an ambitious four-month timeline.

This crucial stretch serves as a vital link between major economic and industrial zones in Upper Assam. Its reconstruction is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, enhance road safety, and facilitate smoother movement of goods and people, thereby catalysing economic activity across the region. The project will not only strengthen road infrastructure but also contribute to the government’s larger vision of improving logistics efficiency and promoting balanced regional development.

Speaking on the achievement, Abhishek Singla, GM-Business Development, J Infratech, said, “We are honoured to be entrusted with this important project by NHIDCL. This recognition reinforces our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and nation-building through infrastructure development. With our proven track record of timely delivery, we are confident of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining the highest engineering and safety standards.”
