Inox Wind bags repeat order from Surya Vidyut for 50 MW

Inox Wind Limited has bagged a repeat order from Surya Vidyut Limited (SVL) for a 50 MW wind power project at Rojmal, in Gujarat. SVL is a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC Limited. CESC Limited is India’s first fully integrated power utility engaged in the generation and distribution of electricity. The order which will be executed on turnkey basis is scheduled to be commissioned by December 2016. Inox Wind’s Rojmal site is one of the largest wind farms in Gujarat with a capacity of 400 MW. The common power evacuation infrastructure facilities at the site have already been commissioned.

As part of the turnkey project, Inox Wind will provide end-to-end solutions from development and construction to commissioning. Inox has also been contracted to undertake operations and maintenance services of the project for a multi-year period, post commissioning. The order involves supply and installation of 25 units of Inox Wind’s market leading 100 meter rotor dia Wind Turbine Generator.

Since their introduction in the Indian market, more than 2,000 MW of Inox’s 2 MW WTG platform in multiple variants have been supplied across various sites in the country. Inox Wind offers total wind power solutions from concept to commissioning as well as providing long term operations and maintenance services.
