Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power & infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders/notification exceeding Rs. 1900 crores. The details are as follows:
1) Turnkey project for construction of 225 KV Transmission Line and Substation in Republic of Senegal of approximately Rs. 1340 crores, financed by Exim Bank of India’s NEIA buyer credit scheme.
2) Turnkey project (under JV) for construction of 500 KV transmission line in Islamic Republic of Afghanistan of approximately Rs. 575 crores (KPTL shares), funded by ADB.
Commenting on the order win, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director, KPTL said, “We are proud to be associated with Republic of Senegal and Exim Bank for this prestigious project. We continue to expand our reach in new countries with orders of reasonable size. Our international order book is in excess of USD 800 milion with 70 percent of this being from African countries.”
