A report 'India Solar Market Leaderboard 2018' by Mercon India Research, states that as per the module shipment data for 2017, the single largest supplier of modules to India in 2017 was Trina Solar. The report covers the market share and shipment rankings of the Indian Solar Supply chain in 2017.
Trina Solar was followed by Canadian Solar as the second largest supplier. JA Solar was ranked 3rd in the list of module supplier to India. The Top 5 module suppliers held around 45% market share in India.
NexTracker topped the list as the largest supplier of solar trackers to the India solar market in 2017. Arctec Solar ranked second in the list for 2017 for tracker supplied to the Indian market.
The Top 3 tracker supplier in 2017 made up almost 70 percent of market share in India.
