Unitech, Bharti Realty out of Haryana land bid

Gurgaon, August (EPC News): In the latest development in the bids for Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation's 350-acre land, Unitech and Bharti Realty Ltd which has bid for plot in Gurgaon along with India’s largest developer DLF Ltd have been disqualified on technical grounds.

DLF, now the sole bidder, submitted a bid close to the reserve price of Rs 1,750 crore. Industry experts say this particular site is crucial for DLF as the company has nearly 700 acres of land nearby and is also in the backyard of its existing township DLF City.

The land on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road is meant for setting up a recreation and leisure project including residential, commercial, sports and golf course activities.
