Tatas to construct container terminal, warehousing space

Kolkata, Dec (EPC News): Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd (TRIL) is considering entering the dedicated container terminal (CT) and warehousing sectors.

The company has identified a location on the East Coast where it may participate in developing a dedicated CT project. Talks in this respect are in progress with the state government concerned.

TRIL was also planning warehousing infrastructure projects in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai where it has identified over 50 acres in each location. It may cater to all the major industrial segments in these areas, he said.

TRIL is holding talks with a number of international players in logistics for technological support.

TRIL hopes to bid for the Navi Mumbai airport project, for which it plans to tie up with an international player.
