Bangalore, Nov (EPC News):  Real-estate developer Brigade Group has joined the affordable housing bandwagon by announcing Brigade Value Homes, offering apartments in the range of Rs 10-26 lakh. About 10,000 units would be developed across four projects in Bangalore — Devanahalli; near the Art of Living Centre on Kanakapura Road; the Krishnarajapuram-Whitefield belt; and near Kengeri on Mysore Road.

A single-bedroom apartment (500-550 sq.ft) would cost between Rs10 lakh and Rs13 lakh, a single bedroom plus study (650-700 sq.ft) would cost the buyer between Rs13 lakh and Rs16 lakh, while two-bedroom (850-900 sq.ft) and three-bedroom (1,050-1,100 sq.ft) apartments have been priced Rs17 lakh to Rs21 lakh, and Rs21 lakh to Rs26 lakh, respectively.

The registration, similar to expression of interest, would be open from November 20 to December 6. Interested buyers can register by depositing between Rs50,000 and Rs1 lakh (depending on the size of the apartment they require) registration fee at select Corporation Bank branches in the city. The registration fee should be deposited in a designated interest-bearing fixed deposit account, and interest accruing on the deposit will be according to the prevailing rates offered by Corporation Bank. Customers can also enjoy the pre-launch booking price and special discount of Rs50,000 to Rs1 lakh offered.

The project would commence in six-twelve months, as they are still in the planning stages. Only one booking would be allowed for every customer.
