Pioneer Alloy Casting Ltd.

Chennai, Nov (EPC News): Chennai based Pioneer Alloy Castings, with two foundries situated at Gummidipundi in Tamil Nadu and Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh, has chalked out an ambitious expansion plan.

With Rs400 crores earmarked for this project, Pioneer has formulated a two pronged plan. The first is to augment it's existing casting capacity of 40,000 Tons per annum with a world class imported High pressure casting line.  On completion this would triple the companies casting capacity to 120,000 tons per annum.

Part two of the plan involves putting up state of the art machining facilities at both the Gummidipundi and Renigunta plants to machine the castings produced by them. For these plants one hundred and fifty German and Japanese machining centres have been ordered. This capacity once fully installed would bring Pioneer on par with some of the best foundries and machine shops worldwide.
