AP allots land to TMC's Vishakhapatnam project

Mumbai, Oct (EPC News): The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved the allotment of 80 acre at Aganampudi village in Visakhapatnam district for the Tata Memorial Centre's (TMC) proposed campus.

TMC, an autonomous grant-in-aid institution under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy, proposes to develop its campus in a phased manner.

In Phase I, it proposes to set up a 100-bed hospital which will offer a complete range of services to cancer patients. In Phase II, it plans to set up a research centre for cancer. The Phase III of the project is likely to set up a nursing school and an advanced school on epidemiology.
