Rajasthan Govt plans six power plants

Project detail: The Government of Rajasthan plans to set up six power plants worth 4780 MW during the XII five-year plan. The power projects include three super critical plants of 1320 MW each as extensions of existing power projects at Suratgarh, Kalisindh, and Banswara projects. Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd will be developing these projects.
