Hinduja Foundries to setup Greenfield project

Company name: Hinduja Foundries Ltd

Project detail: The company has planned to set up Greenfield foundry unit spread over 60 acre in Hyderabad. The unit is planned in two phases with an overall capacity of 85,000 tpa. The first phase of the project will have a production capacity of 48,000 tpa and will be ready by 2010-11. The unit will cater to engine blocks and heads for car manufacturers in India and abroad while supporting requirements for commercial vehicle segment and tractors. The work is expected to start in 1-2 months.

Investment: Rs 150 crore.
