Surya Roshni to invest Rs550 crore on capacity expansion

Mumbai, Oct (EPC News): Surya Roshni Limited makers of electrical bulbs, tubelights and steel pipes said that it would invest about Rs550 crore towards capacity expansion in its different plants across the country.

JP Agarwal CMD of Surya Roshni Limited told reporters that the company was aiming to increase its annual turnover from Rs1,750 crore to Rs5,000 crore in the next two to three years.

Agarwal said that “Surya Roshni Limited and some of its subsidiaries will invest about Rs550 crore on capacity expansion by March 2010 in some of its plants in states including Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.”
