Which are the marquee products and services you are going to showcase at Excon 2019?
Excon has been one of the leading platform for us to exhibit our latest offering for formwork and scaffolding systems. We are participating in Excon from last few editions. This year, PERI will be occupying largest exhibition stall in the formwork and scaffolding sector in Hall 4 and have lined up quite a few new offering in formwork and scaffolding sector.
Tell us about your recent tech-upgrades you have introduced for faster completion of projects?
Modern infrastructure development demands technologies that are faster, safe and innovative. For 50 years, PERI products and systems have successfully proved themselves in the market globally. PERI has developed ground breaking formwork and scaffolding technologies, which continues to set standards in the industry. Recent examples of such tech upgrades are PERI UP MI & PERI ALPHADECK. PERI UP MI is an innovative solution among the steel shoring and scaffolding systems and stands for quick and simple assembly. PERI UP MI has unique gravity lock technology. Ledger of this system has a connection in the form of a wedge, which is hooked into the rosette opening. Thereby, the gravity lock drops into the rosette opening due to its own weight and locks self-actuating. This feature makes simple and safe assembly of the system and offer huge savings in time and cost.
PERI ALPHADECK is the modular aluminium slab formwork system with economic and faster cycle times. It allows fast as well as safe forming operations with a systematic assembly sequence. The system provides efficient solutions for standard applications. The unique design of the system offers safe and confident erection from level below. It also ensures easier de-shuttering of panels, while the props remain undisturbed. The PERI ALPHADECK slab formwork system is designed for slab thickness of 350 mm for the panel size of 2400 mm x 1200 mm and 550 mm for panel size of 1800 mm x 1200 mm.
What are your expectations from Excon 2019 and the opportunities brought along with it? Are you planning any product launches?
Over the last few years, Excon has seen continuous uptrend in overall footfalls. It has provided us platform to showcase our capabilities, interact with existing as well as new customers and update them on our latest products. We expect to see even higher footfalls at the Excon 2019 edition. We will be launching two new product at Excon 2019. HANDSET Alpha, a lightweight panel formwork system for walls and columns with unique panel to panel connection and PERI ALPHADECK, a large area slab panel formwork system for economic and faster cycle times
In your views share with us your assessment on the opportunities the year 2019 offered for formwork and scaffolding industry as a whole and for your business in particular?
Infrastructure development is a need of an hour for Indian economy be it road, railway including metro rail, affordable housing or airports. We see many opportunities in this sector for formwork and scaffolding industry. PERI has over a decade presence in India, a successful journey with our continuous endeavor to build a strong customer relationship by offering distinct solutions for every construction need. Innovation supported by adequate R&D is a key driver for our growth. PERI India has been growing its footprints in infrastructure sector in India.
