VE Commercial Vehicles (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 3959 units in April 2018 as compared to 3089 units in April 2017, recording a growth of 28.1%. This includes 3939 units of Eicher brand and 20 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for April 2018:
- Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 3939 units in April 2018 as compared to 3077 units in April 2017, representing a growth of 28%.
- In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 3389 units April 2018 as compared to 2578 units in April 2017 representing a stellar growth of 31.5%.
- On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 550 units in April 2018 as compared to 499 units in April 2017, representing a growth of 10.2%.
- Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 20 units in April 2018 as compared to 12 units in April 2017, representing a growth of 66.7%
