The 11.2 km long Mundka-Bahadurgarh section of the Delhi Metro's Green Line has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference. The seven elevated stations in this section are City Park, Bus Stand, Modern Industrial Estate, Tikri Border, Tikri Kalan, Ghevra and Mundka Industrial Area. The stations which come under Haryana are City Park, Bus Stand and Modern Industrial Estate and the rest Tikri Border, Tikri Kalan, Ghevra and Mundka Industrial Area falls under Delhi.
With the inauguration of this section the Delhi Metro network has reached 288 km with 208 stations. Metro services to the neighbouring state of Haryana are already operational in Gurgaon (Yellow Line) and Faridabad (Violet Line) and with the Mundka-Bahadurgarh section a third metro line has become operational.
