L&T Construction’s Power Transmission and Distribution Business has secured EPC orders worth Rs. 2,084 crore. The Business has received contract for the construction of 115kV Substations with associated transmission lines and cable circuits in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It has also received contract for 132kV cable works for a Substation in Dubai, UAE. From Oman and Qatar too the Business has received orders for EHV Substation. It has also received order from the Sarawak state of Malaysia for a 275kV Substation.
On the domestic front, the business has secured EPC orders from reputed developers to build 235 MW of Solar Photovoltaic power projects in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. The business has also bagged contract for implementing floating solar photovoltaic project on a reservoir, in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, as a part of Tirupati Smart City mission.
Under the DDUGJY scheme the Business has been awarded Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development project in West Bengal.
