Future 2027: Infrastructure down the decade: Gaurav Jindal, Director, Jindal Mectec

Infrastructure development is the key driver for the Indian economy. The sector has to be the front-runner in giving traction to India’s overall advancement. The Sector has to also support, the focused approach of the Government, for starting the new arrangements that would guarantee, the provision of world class public facilities.

The Government has already initiated the concept and has started focusing on basic infrastructure development which includes industrial developments, better transportation, schools, colleges, well equipped hospitals, electricity and water supply, commercial complexes, Low cost mass housing etc.

Creation of Smart city concept is the most significant step taken by government to fulfill this vision of Future 2027: Infrastructure down the decade. To develop the Smart Cities, various sectors will play a very prominent role. Roofing and cladding will be the prominent amongst them. In India, there are various factor involved which is affecting the external climate, which in turn contribute to the deterioration of the infrastructure also. So, in order to full fill the dream of smart cities there is a huge requirement of smart technological solutions and, keeping this in view, “Double Skin Metal Sandwich Insulated Panels” can be considered as the best suited example for this.

Nowadays these insulated panels are widely accepted for all roofing and cladding needs. India has already seen the infrastructural boom in past few decades with some Hi-technological transformation in airports, railways, metros, road transportation and many more. India is always setting benchmarks in Infrastructure development and 321 m high arched bridge over “Chenab River” is the best recent example of same. Similarly, lot of transformations has been seen in roofing & cladding sector also and it is expected to have very bright future as demand is continually escalating.

The roofing and cladding system is now a preferred substitute for the conventional mode of construction and insulated sandwich panels are trending nowadays. One of the most important elements of insulated sandwich panel is its ability to reduce thermal heat gain and its basic material itself has better thermal efficiency. These panels consist of PUF (Polyurethane Foam)/PIR (Polyisocynurate)/Rockwool insulation sandwiched between double layered metal sheets. These panels are lighter in weight and are readily available in variable thickness for diverse application as per infrastructural requirements. These panels are widely accepted in cold storages, cold rooms and logistic sector where temperature control is the major concern. Now these panels are trending towards infrastructural and commercial segments also and hence supporting the development of smart cities.

Jindal Mectec Pvt Ltd ( JMPL) has vast experience of more than 30 years and is the India’s largest PUF panel supplier. Jindal Mectec is committed to deliver high quality and ecofriendly material for all infrastructural needs from their state of art manufacturing facilities having capacity more than 5.5 million sq mtr per annum. JMPL products are 100% ecofriendly and promote Green Construction technology.
JMPL offers Custom built products and follow in house manufacturing process under controlled environment. JMPL is also uses N-Pentane as a blowing agent which make the products CFC free with Zero ozone depleting factor, which is a good example of Building Green Infrastructure.

Gaurav Jindal, Director, JMPL says “We are very well equipped with all latest technologies to fulfill the dream of Smart Cities. We have successfully completed one-year operation of our second state of art manufacturing unit located at Pitampur, MP. We are aligned and ready for the expected continuous growth of the Industry and we are seeing a lot of opportunities with this vision of Future 2027”
