Mumbai, June, 14 (EPC News): NHPC Ltd in accordance to the promoter’s agreement with Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Ltd, NHPC Ltd and PTC India Ltd inked a deal to form a joint venture company. The JVC named as Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt Ltd, will implement Pakal Dul and other hydroelectric projects with an aggregate install capacity of about 2100 MW in the Chenab river basin of Jammu & Kashmir.
The paid up equity share capital in the Company shall be contributed by the Company, Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Ltd and PTC India Ltd in the ratio of 49:49:2 respectively.
