2:53 PM (TUE): Everest plans Fibre Cement Plant in Orissa

Orissa, May, 3 (EPC News): Everest Industries Ltd proposes to acquire land for setting up a plant to manufacture Fibre Cement Products in Orissa. The Rs50 crore project is expected to manufacture fibre cement products with a capacity of 100,000 million tonnes per annum.

The proposed greenfield project in Orissa is expected to gain a total turnover of Rs1,300 crore in the following two years. Spread over 20 acres, the new plant will be the company’s sixth venture contributing to the Indian cement sector.
