Mumbai, June, 24 (EPC News): Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Anand Sharma highlighted the need for investment to bring a Second Green Revolution in India by developing the agro-processing and food processing sectors at the 36th Annual Summit of the US India Business Council (USIBC) in Washington DC. Sharma further announced Indian plans for shedding an investment of $1 trillion on the development of infrastructure in the next Five Year Plan commencing by 2012.
The recent summit also finalized the India-US Bilateral Investment Agreement strengthening the economic bond between the two nations.
