Mumbai, May, 21 (EPC News): Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) is on an exploration for partners to set is Rs45,000 crore petrochemical complex at Visakhapatnam in Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region ( PCPIR ).

The body further is also in search for partners who can supply 50-60% of feed stock for the project and has requested the Andhra Pradesh Government to allot 1,000 acres of land in addition to the 1,500 acres sanctioned earlier for the complex. HPCL also plans to set up a 350 MW captive power plant as a part of the project.

“HPCL, French petroleum giant Total SA is among the overseas companies with whom we are on talks for partnership,” informed O P Pradhan, Executive Director (PCPIR project).
